What is a Facilitated Drum Circle?

Drumming and Drum Circles have been around for thousands of years as a form of communication and expression.
We all have Rhythm.

The word facilitate is "to make easy". Participants at a facilitated drum circle play rhythms in a group setting, with a facilitator who guides their musical direction when it is needed.

The facilitated drumming circle is for all drummers of all skill levels. This includes beginners who have never picked up a drum.

Many people want to drum but the environment to explore it was not available.

Facilitated drumming circles create a supportive, safe place to explore and express your right to that rhythm.
Drumming can create a deep an enduring sense of community. It can be very empowering.

As in community, as in drumming circles we bring to bear good listening skill, respect, patience and cooperation.
